The back story: A very good friend of mine from college has decided to leave Christianity. Her screen name is Lalaith, and she has started a blog with a friend of hers with their stated purpose being to seek the truth and debunk the myths of religions, specifically Christianity.
My Purpose: I will be writing to address some of the issues that they bring up. My goal is not to start a war or engage in verbal mud-flinging. My goal is to shed some light on things, maybe show a different view, maybe flesh things out more fully in the hope that real Christianity will be seen. My goal is actually her overall goal, that she (and any others who come to see this) will know the truth and the truth will set her free.
Notice: Any comments that engage in name-calling or what I determine (since it IS my blog) to be the equivalent of unsportsmanlike conduct will be deleted. Any posts that contain swearing will be subject to deletion as well. As I don't want to be engaged in mud-flinging, I also don't want my blog to be weighted down with comments of that nature.
